How do I add Scrubshot to the share sheet?
Take a screenshot, tap the thumbnail, then tap Share. Scroll the row of apps to the end and tap More, then add Scrubshot to Favorites. For one-tap redaction, scroll the list of actions below it to Edit Actions… and add Quick Scrub and Scrub Screenshot.
How do I redact with Back Tap or the Action Button?
In Scrubshot, open Settings → One-Tap Redaction → Add Shortcut Automation, then add the shortcut. Next, open your iPhone’s Settings → Accessibility → Touch → Back Tap → Double Tap and choose Redacted Screenshot. For the Action Button, go to Settings → Action Button → Shortcut.
Something sensitive wasn’t hidden. What can I do?
Drag over it to draw a box, or type it into “Describe what to hide” (for example “the order number”). To hide a word in every image, tap the pin after hiding it, or add it in Settings → Always Hide. Always check images before you share them.
How do I restore Scrubshot Pro on a new iPhone?
Sign in with the same Apple Account, open Scrubshot, then go to Settings → Restore Purchase. Pro is shared with your Family Sharing group automatically.
Why is the editor blank in my screenshot?
While you’re using your free redactions, screenshots of the editor preview come out blank. Save or share the redacted copy instead. With Scrubshot Pro, you can screenshot the editor normally.
Why can’t I buy Pro from the share sheet?
iOS doesn’t allow purchases inside share extensions. Open the Scrubshot app and tap Unlock; Pro then works everywhere, including the share sheet and Quick Scrub.
Does Scrubshot remove location from photos?
Yes. With Remove Metadata on (a Pro feature after your free redactions), redacted copies carry no location, original date or device details.
Does Scrubshot need an internet connection?
No. Everything, including the describe-to-hide AI, runs on your iPhone. You only need a connection to buy or restore Pro.
