Terms of Use
Using Scrubshot means agreeing to these terms. They’re short, and the important parts are at the top.
Always check before you share. Scrubshot’s automatic detection is very good but not perfect. You are responsible for reviewing every image before sharing it and hiding anything it missed.
License
Scrubshot is licensed to you under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, together with these terms. Where they conflict, Apple’s agreement applies.
Free redactions and Scrubshot Pro
- Your first 5 redactions include every feature. A redaction counts when you save or share an automatically detected image; hand-drawn boxes are always free.
- Scrubshot Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks Pro features for as long as the app is available, with Family Sharing.
- Payments, refunds and Family Sharing are handled by Apple under the App Store’s terms. Use “Restore Purchase” in Settings to restore Pro on a new device.
Your content
Your screenshots and photos stay yours and stay on your device. You’re responsible for having the right to edit and share the images you use with Scrubshot.
No warranty
Scrubshot is provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee that it will find every piece of sensitive information in an image, and we aren’t liable for information that is shared, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Scrubshot to alter images in order to deceive, defraud or impersonate anyone.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use Scrubshot after an update means you accept it.
